Harwinton’s Alexis Mucha was a big winner at the USTA Junior Championships Tennis Tournament held at Pinewoods November 24 and 25, 2018. Mucha, who is only 13 and trains with Pinewoods Junior Tennis Director Shawn Young, won the Girl’s 18 & Under Singles Division with victories over West Hartford’s Katelyn Seidman 6-4,6-3 and West Haven’s Elena Miko by withdrawal in the Round Robin Competition.
