Litchfield High School Freshman Sabrina Cofer won the last 14 & Under Tennis Tournament of her life at the USTA CT. Junior Championships Tennis Tournament held February 3-5 at Pinewoods. Cofer, who turns 15 in March and thus will have to play 16 & Under Tourneys from now on, won the Girl’s 14 & Under Singles Division with Round Robin victories over Darien’s Mia Dursht 8-4 and Hebron’s Alexandra Perron, also 8-4. Cofer, who is ranked in the Top 50 in New England in her age division, will begin play with Litchfield’s High School Tennis Team this Spring.
